Accessing Journal of Threat Assessment and Management (JTAM)

APATAP members can access the JTAM as part of their membership by following these instructions.

1. If you are not a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) or do not have a current account with the APA, go to https://my.apa.org and click on “Create an Account”, and enter the email address you used to sign up with APATAP as your user name and create a password. The password will need to be 8-14 characters long, with a mix of letters, numbers or symbols.

2. If you are a member of the American Psychological Association or if you already have an established login account with the APA, go to https://my.apa.org and log in with your current username and password.

3. Once you’re logged on, scroll down to the area designated as "Subscriptions." Under Subscriptions, scroll down to the section “Journals,” where your journal is listed, then click on your journal to view it.

4. From here, you can view the citation and full text of any article published in the journal. Please note that you will be able to browse all of the journals in APA’s PsycARTICLES database; however, you will have access to the full text of only those to which you subscribe.
