Dr Stephen Hart, PhD, CTAP (C)

Dr. Hart is a Professor of Clinical and Forensic Psychology at Simon Fraser University and a Director and Threat Assessment Specialist at Protect International. His work focuses on the development, implementation, and evaluation of decision support aids for violence risk assessment and management. He is President of the Canadian Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (CATAP) and was Founding Editor of the Journal of Threat Assessment and Management. He has received awards for distinguished career contributions from organizations such as the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, CATAP, the American Academy of Forensic Psychology, and Divisions 12 and 41 of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Hart is recognized by CATAP as a Certified Threat Assessment Professional in Canada.
